Laura is an incredibly passionate storyteller which she believes stems from being an only child, spending hours in her bedroom imagining elaborate narratives for her and the single Ken doll she had despite owning 27+ Barbies. When she auditioned for her first play in sixth grade and played Lucy in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Ken really paled in comparison to real people. When her mom and dad took her to New York to see Wicked for her 13th birthday, she unexpectedly cried during bows and felt her heart crack open to the beauty of this career path.

She joined a dance studio that placed a strong emphasis on musical theater and really taught her that the fundamental element of any dancing or singing is the acting of it all. She got her BFA in Actor Training from The Hartt School where she discovered her love of Shakespeare and farce. Since graduating, she has worked off-Broadway and regionally thriving in both dramatic and musical theater spaces equally. She strives to bring groundedness, collaboration, and fervor into any creative space she enters.
